A digital interface was developed on EpiCollect platform to collect inputs from city residents on the efficiency and coverage of the Underground Sewage System (UGSS). The form enabled surveyors to capture key details such as building location, building type, availability of toilet facilities, whether a UGSS connection exists, and whether the connection is efficiently established.

To ensure data accuracy and transparency, the app also allowed users to upload photographs of buildings and UGSS connections. Its use significantly improved the speed and reliability of data collection, enabling the successful survey of over 30,000 buildings spread across the town.

Students and volunteers involved in the survey found the app highly user-friendly and efficient, making it a valuable digital tool for large-scale urban infrastructure assessments.
