As part of the Carbon Neutral Rajapalayam Project and efforts towards building a sustainable future, a vibrant Rangoli competition was organised at Ward 25 – Ambedkar Nagar and Velayathupuram Habitation, Samusigapuram Panchayat, to celebrate the Pongal festival.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, who showcased creative, colorful, and beautiful Rangoli designs reflecting both tradition and artistic talent. A total of 54 participants took part, with 31 from Ambedkar Nagar and 23 from Velayathupuram.

Gifts were distributed to all participants as a token of appreciation, encouraging continued community involvement. The activity not only created a joyful atmosphere but also strengthened community bonding while promoting awareness for a cleaner and greener neighborhood.
