As part of the ongoing cleanliness and environmental improvement initiatives under Carbon Neutral Rajapalayam, a Garbage Vulnerable Point (GVP) located at Samusikapuram Village, Chatrapati Road was successfully cleared recently.

The accumulated waste at the site was completely removed, and the area was thoroughly cleaned, with the support of local residents. Following the cleaning activity, the location was beautified with colourful rangoli, creating a pleasant and positive visual impact for the community.

To further promote environmental sustainability, a sapling was planted at the site, symbolising our collective commitment towards greenery and long-term environmental conservation. An awareness session was also conducted for the residents and the general public. Participants were sensitised on the importance of maintaining cleanliness, the harmful effects of open dumping, and the need for responsible waste disposal practices.
