Grounding Restoration in Science: Field Survey at Sanjeevi Hills

Category: Greening Sanjeevi Hills

A field survey was recently carried out in the Sanjeevi Hills area as part of ongoing ecological restoration efforts. The objective of this ground-level assessment was to develop site-specific restoration plans and make informed decisions for plantation activities.

Through detailed on-site observations, the survey enabled the identification of zones with fertile soil and helped assess soil depth variations across different locations within the landscape. Understanding these factors is critical for selecting appropriate plant species and ensuring their long-term survival.

The findings also provided valuable insights into the suitability of native plant species based on existing soil conditions, allowing restoration efforts to align more closely with the natural characteristics of the site.
