Shrishti Environment and Livelihood Foundation, in partnership with Ramco Community Services, conducted a targeted training session for Green Friends of Division 1. The initiative focused on refining daily waste collection workflows and reinforcing operational standards essential to driving the Carbon-Neutral Rajapalayam vision forward.
The key training directives of the targeted training session include the following:
- 100% Door-to-Door Coverage: Task force to ensure comprehensive daily collection, leaving no household unattended during field rounds.
- 4-Bin Source Segregation: Work force to verify that waste handed over by residents is strictly categorized into four designated streams.
- Zero Mixed Waste Transit: Green Friends to adopt a zero-tolerance policy (under any circumstances) as far as loading unsegregated or mixed waste onto secondary collection vehicles.
The session elevated operational discipline, accountability, and proper waste-handling protocols across the team. All 17 Green Friends reaffirmed their commitment to these standards, directly bolstering Rajapalayam municipality’s drive toward a cleaner, greener, and carbon-neutral Rajapalayam.
To sum up: “Four Bins, Zero Waste: Steering Rajapalayam Toward a Carbon-Neutral Tomorrow!”
